- To produce efficient, motivated and disciplined public service through a systematic disciplinary and promotional administration that adheres to related principals and regulations.
- Managing matters regarding disciplinary actions, disciplinary appeals, promotions and promotional appeals.
- Administering and solving every disciplinary cases, disciplinary appeals, promotions and promotional appeals in 4 to 20 weeks' time.
- Managing disciplinary action with the interest of dismissal or reducing rank for
- Officers in the Managerial and Professional Group in the Federal Public Service, the State Public Service of Perlis and Negeri Sembilan;
- Pegawai-pegawai Kumpulan 'A' , 'B' dan 'C' didalam Perkhidmatan Awam Negeri Melaka dan Pulau Pinang.
- Officers in the 'A', 'B' and 'C' group in the State Public Service of Melaka and Pulau Pinang.
- Managing Discipinary Appeals for
- Every group of officers in the Federal Public Service, the State Public Service of Perlis and Negeri Sembilan that has been given any disciplinary actions by the board;
- Group 'A' officers that has been given disciplinary action other than dismissal and Group 'D' officers that has been dismissed by the State Government Disciplinary Board for the State Public Service of Melaka and Pulau Pinang.
- Managing Promotions for
- Promotion to post for members of the Public Service Promotional Board;
- Promotion to grade for officers in integrated service scheme in the Federal Public Service.
- Managing Promotional Appeal for
- Officers in Managerial and Professional Group (Group 'A') in the Federal Public Service and States Public Service of Melaka, Pulau Pinang, Perlis and Negeri Sembilan.
